Occupational Rehabilitation
Occupational rehabilitation is a form of treatment that is designed to help people recover from a physical or mental disability and return to work. This type of treatment is often used after an injury or illness that has caused a disability and is used to help the individual regain their physical and mental abilities in order to be able to return to their previous job or start a new one. Occupational rehabilitation typically involves physical therapy, counselling, and job training. Occupational rehabilitation can also include activities that help the individual manage their disability and return to work, such as developing organizational skills, learning how to use adaptive equipment, and creating an ergonomic workspace.
